Boring work, not a lot of variability, you have to stay in the associate role for much longer than necessary, upper management isn’t always receptive to requests for additional responsibility

job description when i was hired did not match actual duties. was pitched as more of a consulting role based around market research, but actual day to day did not line up with that. almost all time is spent sourcing market experts to speak with PE/HF/healthcare clients. they have recently (within last 12 months) revamped job description to more accurately reflect this.
