Giving people a chance to have a start at a career. The college has given me the opportunity to teach math, business, and electrical/electronic classes.

Cons

School needs to provide more class options for students to attend classes both day and night. As more people find employment night school will become more important.

Pros

GTCC is a good place to work. Most of the faculty and staff care about their work: helping people in the community reach goals. GTCC is offers a very diverse student population.

Cons

Over the last few years, the upper administration at GTCC started to micro-manage employees. Communication is very one-way with little input from those in daily contact with the students.
