      Nice Hangars Great tool and equipment selection Competitive pay at first (with inflation my pay was seriously lacking)

      Cons

      benefits are annoying to use HR is not on your side you are just another number, big company rules Dont count on those raises Dont expect professionalism from co-workers, they are just having fun Lot of time spent talking about nothing. maintenance manuals riddled with errors and vague technical processes Follow the book though, because if anything happens they are gonna ask what vaguely defined step you were on.

      Pros

      This is the best aviation maintenance job conditions gets. Real breaks, good people, lots of tools to get the job done. Some managers are great. Facility is nice compared to lot of other places. I keep seeing race and sex discrimination comments on here but that’s fake news. Local demographics control how many minorities work at any company, not the company it self. Gulfstream doesn’t care what color you are, they care if you can work hard and take on tasks outside of your job scope in order to help get planes out the door.

      Cons

      If you’re on weekends be prepared to work some jobs that you have no idea what you’re doing with little to no assistance or instruction. That’s just a personnel management thing though.
