Pros

Builds great quality aircrafts. Potential for future growth is somewhat certain. Was once a great family oriented type of workplace

Cons

Process elimination of older, sickly and minorities workers. Favors younger temps cause it cuts cost and adds to cheap labor. Unfair wrongful termination of righteous workers but keeps those who don't contribute to the company.

Pros

Salary and benefits are ok, they tend to stay in line with like industries.

Cons

You are tied to your iphone day and night. Leaders will email and call at all hours over simple things. Ideas and new ways of setting up systems and processes are not welcome by leadership. If it is not their solution or idea it will not move forward. Too many meetings and when you have a job charge to put in job charges you know something is not right about the place. The culture is not there for innovation. Too many people stay for less than 2 years and jump because of the micromanagement.

Pros

Prior to 2016, the company medical benefits (PPO) were good, though employee cost had been rising for the past decade. People you work with everyday are great. Depending on the department you work in, everyday life can be very rewarding or very frustrating. I have worked at the company for 27 years and overall it was a good company. However, the past 5 years it has been quickly declining.

Cons

In 2016, company changed to PHA plan and now a high deductible plan is the only choice. The company does not qualify for the Obama Care Cadillac Tax, but the company switched to this plan to profit from its employees. Now upper management exhibited gross negligence in future forecast, and the company lost considerable revenue and back orders. To save face from their owner (General Dynamics), the company laid off over 1100 employees. The company grew too fast and had an inept, good ole' boy system in place. The company had many options that they could have utilized to save jobs, but instead executed the tried and trued method of laying off those folks that had been with the company for 15 or more years, because of the money they were making. I was there 27 years and they treated me like crap. They had managers walking employees out the gate, only to have the manager return, and they in turn were walked out the gate. Management has no clue what they are doing and will not listen to those who have insight. Incompetent, capitalist management at its best...
