Pros

Definitely paid well for their positions.

Cons

Little room for advancement, hostile work environment, way too political, HR makes up the rules as they go and they are so not there to help employees out or do the right thing by their employees. Very "whatever it takes to protect business reputation" mentality.

Pros

If you are looking for a job where you don’t know what your role is, and you like the feeling of being lost, this is a great place to be. If you want a manager that doesn’t care what you do, this is also a great place to be.

Cons

It’s been very demoralizing working for this company the past 3 years, management couldn’t care less, I don’t know how managers are selected but I haven’t meet 1 manager that is competently this company, Instead offer support and guide to their employees, they only go to meaningless meetings, just to say they are doing something. If you are looking for a job where you don’t know what your role is, this is a great place to be, if you don’t want to cause any impact doing your job, and you tend to mediocrity, you are looking in the right spot! Gulfstream is not quality, they state they are the finest, but their processes, the way they launch new products or new programes is lame, lacks of everything and their method is trial-error, that’s how they got the certification on the latest airplane, and it is how they will keep doing it, because I don’t see changes, is the same error, every time. Also a racism still exist, between employees and managers, speaking only for Savannah location. Also right now, I’ve notice that HR has been reposting the jobs over and over again, for me, is like they post jobs to say they have open “opportunities” but, if you apply you will get almost immediacy rejected, and for some cases is absurd, because you meet all the requirements at least to pass the first filter which is HR. I feel like right now there’s this feeling of hopeless in everyone, they’re all looking for jobs in different places because this company doesn’t have anything to offer right now. I’m sure there are companies way worst that this one, but I can clearly see, Gulfstream is heading that direction.

Pros

Decent pay for the Savanah, GA area. Benefits are so/so and align with most other local companies. Savannah is kinda nice.

Cons

The good ole boy network is alive and well here. Unless you know someone you can forget about any upward movement. It doesn't matter how much effort you put into going above and beyond what is required, you are not rewarded in any way. Mediocrity is paramount at this company. Management is not open to change which throws innovation completely out he window. The "just keep it running" mentality brought on by leadership makes this company a bore to work for. I would recommend staying away from this company at all costs.
