Pros

Flexible company at the forefront of aircraft design. Flexible for the employee, and able to grow into or develop new roles with the start-up programs.

Cons

Located in the very small Savannah, GA

Pros

To be involved in the making of such an excellent product Gulfstream offers great pay and benefits Savannah is a small town and Gulfstream benefits/discounts are offered everywhere The hourly employees (the foundation of this company) are AWESOME!

Cons

Culture is not work life balance Archaic technology Hypocrisy at the highest levels Complete disrespect toward hourly employees evidenced by the absolute worst time keeping system ever...and they know its bad but forces it on employees anyway NO FLEXIBILITY, although they will sell you differently Corruption at Director level with constant jockeying of position and personal agendas Undercurrent of fear because if you don't drink the kool aid, you will be shown the door Stuck in a time warp...in a bad way

Pros

Nice coworkers. Pay is pretty good. Lots of resources, like tools and machines that make some jobs easier.

Cons

Work life balance is not great. Not enough flexibility for hourly employees. Must use personal time or vacation for every single hour away from work. If you have an appointment or an event at your child's school you can not make up the time if you are an hourly employee. You must use all of the 40 hours per year of personal time and then your 80 hrs vacation. When working 10 hour days and overtime you have no choice sometimes. If you have a sick child or you get sick, your paid time off goes quick and you could get punished for having unpaid hours if you are out of these allotted hours.
