Pros

My coworkers were the best part of working at Gymshark.

Cons

I will never have anything positive to say of this company again. To watch how it treated its employees in the UK and in the US in the past year has been absolutely horrible. If you are interested in working somewhere that takes its employees into consideration at all, I highly encourage you to look elsewhere. This has been such a disappointment. Don't expect any growth either. You're just a butt in a seat. Salaries are viewed with a UK lens as well and getting paid your worth is a fight.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us, we appreciate your honesty. We wholeheartedly agree that all our US employees, current or not, are incredible individuals, whom we greatly respect. We are truly sorry we couldn't have made your experience at Gymshark more positive. However, we are optimistic about our future, especially as we change and grow every day. We believe the cascade of our new business plan is the first step in the right direction, as we intend to help and support employees with their personal and professional growth. Feedback, such as yours, is essential in helping us make Gymshark an even better place to work and we would love the chance to discuss the points you have raised in further detail. If you are willing, please drop an email to our People Team at glassdoorresponses@gymshark.com, and someone will be in touch. Thank you.

Pros

Great friendly people Good opportunities to get involved in big projects Flexibility to work from home Office Free Lunch

Cons

Pay just isn't up to industry average in some teams, you're expected to take on responsibilities way bigger than your role and get told 'we can't pay more', when if you left they would have to pay someone a higher salary to replace you. Leaves you feeling demotivated. No bonus for years. Gender pay gap is getting bigger each year, it's actually very big compared to average for UK. Lots of managers in positions they are just not qualified for, they have friends in the right places and know how to talk the talk. Underneath this it's just people who are under qualified who don't know what they're doing. People taking credit for other peoples ideas. It's really demotivating that decisions get made by mainly white males, it just doesn't reflect the population internally.
