Leading market position. Good technology and technical support. Strong desire to grow and compete on a global scale. Opportunity to communicate to all levels of management.

Cons

High turnover in sales team demonstrates a change in culture - possibly not for the better. Integration of acquisitions taking a long time and a distraction from core business. Prefers to hire ex National Starch employees to re-create a culture that once existed there.

Can be a fun place to work. People are very willing to share ideas, so it's not a "shark tank". I think executives have a clear vision of what they want the company to be like, especially in regards to collaboration and innovation, but the message gets lost in middle management. As with any position, it is what you make it. However, management could help making it more fun

Cons

Company is running lean, very lean. You get to wear a lot of hats, whether you want to or not. You always feel like your behind the 8-ball.

Good people, good campus, love the nature preserve

Cons

Management of the lab side can be quick to assume things, makes really dumb decisions. ie: There's no room to put anything, but they tell you to keep the lab clean. We can't work and keep the lab clean at the same time!
