- Participating in site visits to bridges the firm had designed or was inspecting - Software training - Supervisors and PE's were very accessible and willing to help and talk - Flexible hours - Good variety in assignments due to rotation through different projects

Cons

- Not many chances to help with real design work - Lots of database upkeep and other less exciting tasks
