      Training is great and if you are lucky enough to work in an office with experienced tax pros that are willing to take you under their wing, consider yourself blessed.

      Cons

      This is a sales job, as well as a tax job.

      More experienced tax professionals are willing to help the first years

      Cons

      Sometimes appointments are set for you that are not properly matched. So you think you're doing a simple tax return, but then there's more to the story and now you have to ask the other tax pros how to do things you haven't been taught yet. That's usually fine, but they have their own clients to tend to as well.

      Pros

      Good pay for the job. I recommend it for anyone 18 or older who needs a first job. My pay was $13 an hour.

      Cons

      It's a bit difficult at first. You won't know how to use Blockworks and you may not have all the skills you need to deal with clients and taxes.
