      Awesome parental leave policy.... That's literally it though

      Where to begin.... The problem start with senior leadership. None of which have any idea what they are doing, or how to scale a company. There answer to everything is just to slack someone else and make it their problem. H1 is reactive to everything and rushes to do a bunch of things poorly, instead of taking the time to do it the right way. Business outlook is extremely poor and scary. Do not expect any job security, as there have been layoffs often over the last several year, with headcount being reduced by almost 50% over the last 5 years. Don't expect any type of raise or career progression either, they just run their best employees into the ground until they eventually quit or get laid off because they can't not afford to pay them anymore.

      I want to say that if you are an alum of H1 of any amount of tenure, I wish you well and feel badly that this is how you may have felt at the time of your departure. I'm grateful you were here with us working with us on our team in any way you were during your tenure. 5 years ago we were exiting Y-Combinator with a very small team, had just raised our first funding round, and i personally feel odd on glassdoor having to clarify that we have grown significantly as a business since then. Most of our management team (especially during the past 2-3 years) have been promoted from within. Business outlook in 2025 has a lot of good things going, and we transparently report financial metrics to team members in town halls. Any current employee or candidate with an offer to join H1 can ask to discuss business outlook with me personally and I will talk through it with them. devin.basinger@h1.co
