      Pros

      Mission is compelling and at the forefront of decision-making Work is intellectually stimulating and challenging Opportunity to learn from a startup scaling at an unparalleled rate and still very much has startup culture Remote work

      Cons

      Can be intense to work at the pace and with the rigor H1 requires over long periods of time - definitely still startup hustle, so you must be excited about that

      Pros

      Fast growth means lots of opportunities. People are generally authentic and leadership is generally strong but varies a bit depending on the specific team. Will compensate well but have high expectations.

      Cons

      Fully remote can make it hard to feel connected with team sometimes and siloed. Employee experience may vary widely depending on the particular team you are on, so is very important to make sure that you work well with manager and teammates. Fast growth requires high adaptability due to constant change, and requires low ego as team expands (easier to say than do.)

While we haven’t actually seen people leave H1 due to dissatisfaction with their compensation, we certainly wouldn’t want that to be a reason for leaving. To that end, we evaluate compensation twice per year in order to make sure we’re paying people commensurate with market rates and the value they’re providing.
