Pros

H1 has very talented employees who truly care about their customers. There are opportunities to take on special projects and work cross-functionally within the organization.

Cons

Some people are challenged by having to re-prioritize tasks and the fast paced environment.

Pros

If you survive, you’re likely to make big money later. You’re, ostensibly, creating a healthier future.

Cons

No work/life balance. Non-core clique employees at constant risk. Over hiring and over spending and many consolidations. Favoritism. Poor data architecture. Many “emergencies.” Fake “family” culture. Employees are disposable.

Hello! I'm sure that we met virtually or in-person during your tenure, and hope you may feel comfortable sending any feedback my way (even if anonymously). I'm hopeful to fix any team challenges that exist like this. (devin.basinger@h1.co ) We don't have access to read private slack messages (and we don't want to - there are enough other things to invest our time in), but I do appreciate the perspective on mistrust. I'll try to help us rebuild that trust. Thank you for the contributions you made while at H1, and I sincerely wish you the best in your current endeavors.

No Leadership

Pros

Nice people Good work/life balance

Cons

No true leadership. Directions and priorities can be changed without proper communication. People with an ego who think everyone around them knows nothing. If you're not VP or upper level, you probably won't know that HR exists in this company after your first week.

Hello ! If there's something I can do to help the circumstance, please reach out to me or a member of my team. I take the HR comment seriously, and I personally make time for all convos and requests that come my way regardless of the team members title. Please let me know what I can do to help me or the HR team be more visible outside of town halls or current channels we use. We are going to run an anonymous survey again in the next couple weeks through culture amp (you can read how culture amp helps protect anonymity), and I invite you to share sentiments there to help us identify any leadership challenges that exist where you may be uncomfortable sharing without anonymity.
