Pros

Co-workers are nice. They REALLY TRY to help each other.

Cons

Assignments are so unsafe. 6 to 7 patients. It does not matter if you have patients on drips. Most of the time with 1 PCA in a floor with 42 patients. Meditech (charting system) is a nightmare. They expect you to do everything! Even the housekeeping tasks! Everyday they will add a stupid rule to make your work harder. The new one is that you can 't removed all your meds at once. Which it was already inconvenient having to log in 2 different computers to pull meds. If you have 7 patients, you have to log in more than 14 times just to pass your 0900 or 2100 scheduled meds! Stay away from this place!! Also their pay sucks.

Understaffed, outdated equipment, horrible management and upper management. They will kill your spirit

Pros

They hire new grads which was what I was at the time of hire.

Cons

High turnover, no CNAs and up to 8 patients to one nurse, very difficult to manage especially on nights when you have multiple fall risk and dementia patients and total care patients
