HCA in general pays more but they kind of have to in order to offset the pain and suffering associated with working there. The new CEO and COO give hope though. They seem solid, I just hope they have the courage to cull the bad culture from the herd.

Cons

The director of the various practices is a poisonous witch. Many MDs have complained about her and HCA refuses to terminate her likely because she checks a DEI quota box. Other than that she’s rude, unprofessional, and openly bullies employees. There’s quite a few DEI hires in management and it’s evident they were not hired for their competence. Employees are openly hostile and weaponize HR against one another. Patient care and employee satisfaction are a distant second to revenue. The hospital has struggled for years with terrible people.
