Greedy Company

Pros

HCA has some decent benefits and has an on site cafeteria. HCA does have adoption and fertility benefits.

Cons

HCA is the greediest company I have ever worked for and I am currently job searching along with all of my coworkers. We are overworked, overwhelmed and not heard. We get a measly .20 cent raise a year, no bonuses, no free catered lunch, no holiday bonus and no holiday party. HCA profits billions and Sam Hazen makes billions each year meanwhile the people who keep the company running can't even afford a one bedroom apartment in the city they work for. I can't afford groceries and on the verge of homelessness and they think a .20 cent raise will make everything better. Some doctors and surgeons are mean and talk down to you like you are beneath them and hire ups do nothing.

Beware

Pros

Good Benefits, Free Lunches, decent co-workers

Cons

Health insurance is expensive, compared to wages, management is horrible, some providers have no respect for staff. They give across the board .35 pay increases yearly. They don't pay you according to the job. They only care about provider's financial gain.

Pros

There are no "best" reasons to work here.

Cons

Profits over patients. The organization is happy to pay high dollar for agency and travel staff instead of investing in the experienced, skilled, knowledgeable staff they employ. Administration/management/senior leaders practice favoritism, retaliation and have been seen to even file false claims . Lack of updated equipment.
