      Stay Away! Poor Management, Unfair Treatment

      Good associates, get holidays off.

      Cons

      I could go on for days about the poor leadership in the Dallas DC. The worst building in the whole Company. Leadership is in hot water with corporate, so they’re trying to do anything to save their jobs. The Assistant Managers have all left or been fired and the building is extremely short staffed. There have been multiple complaints about unfair treatment. 14-17 hour days for shipping and mandatory Saturday’s. If you come in on the management level, they lie about the work life balance. Leaving there was the best decision in my life. Hands down the worst and unethical company to work for.

      Pros

      Some great people I worked with but I have learned a lot of then are no longer working for HD Supply Facilities Maintenance

      Cons

      HD Supply does not hold middle and upper management accountable for their behavior until it reaches an unruly and toxic environment. HR always takes their position over their subordinates. These upper managers spend their time managing up instead of taking care of their teams. They recently went through a large resource reduction that included many middle management positions in the multifamily vertical. HD Supply seems to be self destructing held together only by the dedicated field sales team.

      Pros

      Lots of great associates work for this company. Flexible schedule, good salary, good vacation benefits.

      Cons

      Upper echelon of this company has lost site of company promises to both customers and employees. Transition to Atlanta brought in an almost all new merchandising team that has no clue how this business operates. Job security is now a thing of the past, associates are strictly a number on a piece of paper.
