      Pros

      Easy job. Just need attention to detail. I have worked for three different branches. Facilities, White Cap and Interior Solutions

      Cons

      Management has been for the most part, iffy. White Cap was ok, Interior solutions has been good. However Facilities was horrible. Boss would tell you to hurry up your orders every hour or so, then tell you to slow down for accuracy of picks. Any mispicks would be returned, however, one mispick and you were in bosses office. Many workers dragged their feet. Supervisor of the warehouse would typically pass the blame. Averaged a 12 hour day. Seemed to have little reward. Hence why I bounced around.

      Working in the warehouse doing material handling.

      Pros

      Large company that has a steady stream of business. They are flexible with schedules if you are a student. You get to operate power equipment.

      Cons

      It is usually a harsh environment to work in. You could be working in extreme cold or the opposite extreme heat. You will breath dust containing who knows what all day.

      Working for HD Supply has been a tremendous joy and I hope to be able to work there for at least another decade.

      Pros

      There is an open-door policy which allows you to better communicate with leadership. Also, while there is plenty of work to be done, the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else I've been. That is, pretty much everyone is kind, fun, and knowledgable. Lastly, if you put in the work, you will be nicely compensated.

      Cons

      At various times throughout the year, the workload may feel overwhelming to some. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.
