      A large borg ship that keeps growing but easy to get lost within.

      Pros

      Decent pay and hours. You get to work on pretty large scale public projects, which could be rewarding. Lots of good resources. Employees have diverse background. You get to collaborate with so many different types of engineers. Standing desk is nice.

      Cons

      Sometimes you end up doing the same types of work over and over. It takes very long time to get recognized even for most talented young people. Lots of retired folks from government and public sector getting executive positions to secure jobs from their old nest.

      Generous compensation and benefits. Opportunity to work on projects all over the world. Friendly and supportive work environment. Financially stable.

      Cons

      Very slow to hire and address staffing needs. Tends to lean on high performers leading to burnout.

      Pros

      Amazing career opportunities, stable company with interesting work. Amazing stock options.

      Cons

      Little to no employee training, you need to be able to learn on the job and quickly. Employee Perks/ Appreciation events are very low, the least amount of paid holidays off compared to industry competitors (no MLK, Presidents Day etc.), Diversity and Inclusion is nearly non-existent, the company's workload expectations are not realistic (above industry average), workplace flexibility is not compatible with AEC industry standards.
