      Pros

      Excellent and responsive technical resources throughout the company. Good place for young engineers and scientists to grow professionally. Employee owned with a good return on investment.

      Cons

      Project initiation and management process is geared to large projects. Small projects take a lot of effort to get off the ground.

      Pros

      HDR provides a great opportunity to create a career for yourself and learn more about the industry. HDR also provides a great compensation package.

      Cons

      At times, being in a big company people can feel unnoticed and that seems to be the problem here. HDR provides commitment and great service to their clients, but sometimes to the expense of the employees.

      Pros

      HDR takes good care of it's employees. It is a very active environment, busy, interesting work. The people are highly motivated, successful, and supportive. Given HDR's national/ international status, relocation is available as well as temp work assignments throughout the US. HDR is very supportive of education, self improvement, and also provides extensive in-house training and certification.

      Cons

      Frankly, nothing comes to mind. I had a great experience at HDR, Inc. The only drawback is that HDR primarily works on public funded projects, or very large scale private, (hospitals, buildings, etc.), so when public work slows, so does the work.
