      Pros

      Good benefits and good work environment, learn all kinds of trades. From roadway to facility work as well and that is great for experience. The supervisors are very helpful and want to see you succeed as you go.

      It's hard to stay safe all the time but we do our best to stay safe on the roads, we put safety above everything

      They are no pros to working for this company.

      Cons

      Ridiculous workload, supervisor and manager are bullies, proposal shop runs like a sweatshop. Work your butt off, supervisor and manager could care less.

      Pros

      The value system behind all of HDRs work and ethics is exemplary. You can't ask more of a 100-year-old employee-owned engineering company.

      Cons

      The career opportunities for some jobs types is extremely limited, especially in the tech fields. Also, HDR is a bit of a resume collector; they prefer big names to innovators. This results in a preponderance of "senior" experts, but also an old-school mindset across all practices.
