      Pros

      Paid for overtime (straight time), opportunity to collaborate with HDR employees at other office locations across the US and Canada.

      Cons

      While direct managers are great, senior management is an old boys club

      Pros

      Mostly nice people, good to work with.

      Cons

      Company's lifeblood are engineering projects which inevitably involves deadline pressure on the entire project team. They seem to mostly have work with government agencies. That explains the political slant of the culture. Because this was a large company when I worked there, the chance of having unpleasant co-workers was higher. The company didn't know how to deal.
