Pros

Chicago location had some great coworkers Good salary. Can make your own hours to a certain extent.

Cons

No guarantee you'll be assigned to supervisor at your location, meaning you'll communicate via Gchat. The teams are just an administrative tool, you work completely on your own. No interaction with coworkers outside lunch hour and after work happy hours. The office style is extremely depressing, esp. considering how cool the people who work there are, that you only interact with others for an hour and then go back to a cubicle. Work on the same thing over and over. So tedious that you're over it by your first project. Apparently when you advance, you get more variety, but I couldn't bear to stay. The work made me so depressed.

Pros

Overall, great coworkers and a good sense of teamwork. Pay is good. Workload is high, but most of us have received support from the team, coworkers, managers and attorneys. Overall is fine.

Cons

Zero transparency with respect to hiring. Training is sort of "all over the place," but they have so many paralegals coming through all the time that there is sort of a framework to make sure everyone is covered as they're learning the ropes

Pros

Free buffet lunch on Thursdays, bagels brought in every Tuesday morning. Office is quiet and employees largely work independently.

Cons

Poor salary (less than 40k/year for many employees), overly lengthy interview process followed by a two-week employment period during which new hires can be fired immediately. Management is terrible, and routinely makes decisions that impact employees without ever seeking or considering their input. Vacation time is a joke, with 6 paid days and 4-5 paid holidays.
