Pros

Very stable company, brand new building, very friendly work environment. Some of the best coworkers I've ever had. Some truly amazing supervisors and managers. I love the game room & outdoor game areas. Upper management seams to have noticed that some departments are struggling and they have started a new training programs for supervisors and did a company wide surveys that will hopefully help determine the root cause of some areas dysfunction. Lots of room for growth if you work hard.

Cons

Some supervisors are hard to work with and really need to go through training. They are still putting the finishing touches on the building like artwork and additional common area furniture but its taking a long time. Firm policy on the number of personal items in the work area (pictures, chachkies etc.) which makes our desks feel less personalized. I've asked about it and its supposed to be related to 5s and work efficiency but most people take it as being too strict.

Pros

i'm new to HME and in my short time i've really come to enjoy my peers, supervisors, and managers including the CEO. They really show appreciation for the employees and provide classes to grow in your position and company communications.

Cons

The drive is long. I live near downtown and the company is currently in Poway. At the end of 2017 the company will be moving to Carlsbad. The commute will be even more trying. They should have all departments participate in working from home at least 2 or 3 days a week to help with travel cost.
