Pros
Remote work schedule was great until they threatened to take it away, because new management doesn’t trust employees.
Cons
I worked for an extremely toxic manager for over a year. Many meetings with upper management and H.R. did not make the working conditions any better, they only made them worse. His verbal and mental abuse made me physically sick, and upper management was informed, but his behavior did not change and eventually he treated others in the organization the same. The company expects 80 hours worth of work to be done in 40 hours. Voicing your concerns will not help, you’ll be threatened to either do the work or get written up. In the end the mentally of upper management is they are in charge and what they say goes in spite of what realistically can be done. I knew my work environment wasn’t going to change and I parted ways with the company and haven’t looked back. There is a Good ‘ol Boy mentality and the CEO is out of touch with his employees.
