Cons
Salary is low and increased only by constant performance (of course). But if you're a medium to high performer, there's a chance the new hire next year (same job as you) will get the same salary you'll have, it being adjusted to the market requirement. You better be good at networking if you want that x job. Smoking with, or befriending your manager always helps, of course. Pray for an off-site manager.
