This is not real project or program management. Most of the job is building PowerPoint decks for executives and reporting “progress” that often isn’t tied to real execution or ownership. There’s little ability to drive outcomes or see work carried through. The culture is poor. Employees aren’t valued, 30+ years at the company tenured managers are let go with little respect, and there’s no meaningful investment in career growth. Not a place to build a long-term career.
