      Pros

      There will be a very few people that will actually care about this type of work. You can get called into work at any time even if you worked all day you’re expected to go work a 12 hour shift at a different plant on nights the rules are bent to benefit management only!!

      Cons

      “Safety is #1” if it doesn’t irritate anyone off or you don’t step on anyone’s toes and make them do their job correctly. The supervisors are always correct even if they are committing safety violations left and right putting others in danger. If you report a safety violation you will be scolded and talked down too as if your a child they will also tell you to report safety violations but don’t look for safety violations. It’s all about how long you’ve been working here not how good you are at your job!

      Pros

      Good starting pay compared to similar positions. As much OT as you want

      Cons

      Ridiculous hoops to jump through once you are offered the position. Tons and tons of online forms, basically retaking your CDL, having to get second and third physicals when youre already in possession of a DOT card, management who doesnt listen to their employees and an almost paranoia-like approach to work processes. Lack of flexibility and nepotistic relationships with the doctors in charge of their DOT process.
