start up environment which is exciting at first..

Cons

mission and values of company are far from truth, barely work with independent chefs to better their lives, Hungry is like doordash and caviar since it works with established restaurants already. Zero management, no accountability, lack of communication and overall awful CEO

Your experience certainly does not reflect what we hear from the vast majority of our team in culture surveys, 1-on-1s and other ways we encourage feedback from our team. That said, we are sorry for your poor experience with us. We regularly work with independent chefs and occasionally with independent chef led restaurants and work to bring them as much business as we can, even though the catering market has been severely depressed for some time now. We strive to live by our values in everything that we do and to positively impact the communities where we operate.

Met at a building near Skidrow in Downtown LA. You have to submit your driver license and social security card over email to the hiring manager’s e-mail address and then send it again to some background check company that’s been in business less than five years.

Thank you for the feedback. HUNGRY’s food solutions business hasn’t launched on the West Coast yet but we did provide food delivery services for the City of LA for a short period of time. We appreciate the feedback on our driver screening and onboarding process and will work improve our processes.
