      Great technology, great peers, senior management problematic

      Pros

      Can change peoples lives, health-wise Can develop great technology Some tremendously good peers Some excellent senior managers, but they did not stay long

      Cons

      Use to have black Fridays where peers disappeared (let go), seemingly not always performance Project too frequently got killed, wasting years of your life and passion A few really bad and immature senior executives

      Decent place to work, but aggresive about the bottom line

      Pros

      Haemonetics has a good set of benefits, decent pay, decent vacation standards, and generally treats employees well. There is a very strong focus on the bottom line and meeting quarterly and especially annual revenue expectations, which makes it difficult to spent money for training or other uses late in the fiscal year, but also makes getting a bonus more likely. Management is generally good, and very approachable, and employees are respected and treated well.

      Cons

      As mentioned above, Haemonetics has an extreme focus on the bottom line, and will not hesitate to remove staff and close or combine offices when it deems that necessary. This is probably good for Wall Street and general business, but it can be hard on the staff; even experienced staff are cut. Valuable customer relationships, useful for long-term business relationships, are sometimes trumped by short-term concerns for meeting quarterly or annual objectives, which strikes me as somewhat penny-wise and pound-foolish. Another concern is that processes and 'goals' are a constantly moving target, and makes trying to build long-term systems for running and managing indivdual product lines within the business challenging.

      Pros

      They have an excellent product line, and innovative technologies. Training was excellent, but feedback I considered very poor.

      Cons

      Direct management too busy to discuss development opportunities. Promises were not kept. There was also quite a bit of political game playing . I could not trust my co workers. Travel allowences were laughable
