Pros

Benefits and salary are relatively better than other options in the vicinity

Cons

Toxic culture of no communication, resistance to continuous improvement, and unfriendliness promoted from top management people working on site. Limited engagement from senior management unless it affects their own KPIs. No appreciation of technical staff, no bonus, limited raise based on factors caused by zero senior management engagement to fix problems. Zero feasibility analysis for new products, including for logical allergen flow and premose design No regard for premise upgrade other than superficial, which is meaningless except to senior management visits. Management has no concern over insufficient resource (people) allocation.

Pros

Great people on a day to day level. Hard working and honest......some departments are difficult to deal with.

Cons

Bad Management, no bonus for lasts years hard work. Over accepted a large unachievable target set by the "New" board., and accepted by HCC Canada. Some oversight might need to be done at President, SVP to SR. Management level....some top heavy payroll that needs to be cut. Way too much SVP and Directorship.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Don’t expect to retire from this company, let alone have a decent feeling of job security. You can be replaced in two seconds. Loyalty means absolutely nothing to them. So many jobs have been cut in a short period of time, or, tons of people leave. Turnover rate is the highest of any company I have ever worked in with people coming and going on a constant basis. Some people work themselves to death hoping and thinking that they will get a decent pay bump or promotion – forget it, working harder and harder for the same pay is just an expectation and the same people get promoted (favouritism). The lower level people in this company are bullied and dumped on, constantly. Jobs change way too much and you will be expected to be ‘Nimble’ and just deal with it. No sympathy if you feel burnt out or over worked. Working on weekends and over your breaks just becomes an expectation and you won’t likely be rewarded for it. No thank you’s whatsoever from HR or management for the hard work people put in. Standard goodbye to people who leave, unless you’re a favourite. It has gotten to the point where some people don’t even have a farewell lunch/ going away party. So much for appreciation. AVOID working for this company unless you have an exit strategy in two years or less. Do not get your hopes up about having your contract extended or being re-hired. They can always alter your role and put pieces on it onto other people (the ones who are loyal enough to stay for more than two years).
