Pros

Halliburton has one of the best benefit packages in the oil and gas industry they seem to treat their people with respect and give the opportunity for advancement throughout a person's career.

Cons

The con to working for Halliburton is that is is a service company in the oil and gas industry is a cyclical business with ups and downs when we no longer need someone they will eliminate the need for the asset.

Pros

Great way to break into the O&G majors and to learn Lean Manufacturing.

Cons

Cut throat organization and although they pretend to care about people, they will let you go without caring about your life. This is not uncommon amongst most Fortune 500 companies.
