Rotation of Management constantly - I had 15 managers in 12 years. therefore, had to train constantly and re-prove self and skills. Half of the managers were good - other half - horrible...

Pros

Global reach. Excellent exposure, learning opportunities, diversity of responsibilities. Good intra-company mobility. Very safety-conscious

Cons

Large company results in tremendous red tape and bureaucratic requirements, Work/Life balance very sensitive to price of oil.

Pros

Lots of opportunities if you work hard, but as with any big company, it can often be more about who you know then what you know. Benefits are pretty standard for the industry.

Cons

Lots of red tape, inefficiencies and wasted time. With the oil prices dropping and layoffs running rampant you will see Halliburton try to become leaner. Good for the company overall, but bad for employees.
