      A great foundation for a career in the Oil and Gas Industry.

      Pros

      The experience and training are the best in the Oil and Gas industry. The small perks like a company vehicle, laptop and cell phone are great also. The medical insurance is the best and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan and 401K matching is the best I've seen. There is a great career plan and you can move up if you are the career driven type.

      Cons

      Very long hours and no personal and family life. If you work in the field you will have an unhealthy lifestyle because of long hours, very little sleep and no time for exercise. The pay is low compared to other companies in the industry.

      Pros

      If you work you way up, there's hope, otherwise you are stuck in the field where you are accountable for almost everything that goes wrong! If you happen to have good co-workers, thing work out much better. If operators and engineers work together, they can ease the job they perform. Engineers are given a lot of responsability: expensive equipment, crew management, reporting, customer relationships, etc. So there is a lot the engineers have to look at for.

      Cons

      Due to this business nature, there is too much stress involved. Management is not always the best at dealing with people.

      Reputation and growth are very important and available. With such a successful company, you will have opportunities at your fingertips. But it will require for you to be creative and proactive to make long lasting strides that will be acknowledged and appreciated.

      Cons

      Big company has its expected challanges. It is very easy to work for an extented period of time and not be noticed easily. You have to make continous attempts to show your talent and that you can provide differnt benefits to the company.
