The ship is sinking

Pros

For the most part, staff and faculty are friendly.

Cons

Upper administration has failed utterly. Bond rating has reached "junk" level. The university is hemorrhaging money and the debt just keeps growing. No raises for faculty or staff in 8 years unless one is promoted which seldom happens and salaries as they stand now are already lower than all our competitors, including Augsburg! The switch from HealthPartners to Medica two years ago was a very unpopular decision. Basically, it is the bottom rung of private colleges/universities in the Twin Cities, whereas it was once the best. It's a damn shame.
