No support for adjuncts, conflicts at all levels, I don't expect it will be around in ten years

Pros

Hamline's students are incredible. There is a lot of great things going on around campus if you're willing to tap into them.

Cons

Hamline leadership does not value their employees. Raises are basically non-existent, moving up is basically non existent, but there is plenty of shady business that goes around. Getting anything to go up the chain is impossible. When concerns are brought forward they are basically ignored.

Pros

benefits are fair, and the time off is generous. higher education, in general, is typically a smaller environment which can be nice for networking and building camaraderie with coworkers and teammates.

Cons

there is a high resistance to change, and a sever lack of prioritization at a leadership level. high levels of disregard and disrespect and/or collaboration between faculty and staff.
