Pros

None. I hated working here. No balance between work and home life allowed.

Pros

-Highest quality products available. Best lines of windows and doors. -Established company. It's not going anywhere. -Great vendors to work with. Obviously they pay their suppliers on time. -Consistent hours, 52 weeks a year. -Every day you will learn something new. -You will not be micromanaged. -There will always be overtime. -They do plenty of training, and they really want you to know as much as possible about every product. -It must have been ok, I stayed for two years.

Cons

* Lousy benefit package. Stingy 401k contribution, as well as vesting requirements, make the 401Ka joke. Zero vacation/sick/ time off in first year. *Computer system "upgrade" has been a nightmare. So many hours are wasted each week due to freeze ups, crashes, reboots, calls to IT, being on hold with IT,quotes and sales orders vanishing into cyberspace. * Numerous double standards , to the level of elementary school. * Many co workers just cannot get along well with others. Team work suffers. * Don't bother giving two weeks notice. Once they get everything they need , they will give you a box. Even if you are moving to a different industry. * The normal work week is over 50 hours per week, 7 to 5pm and saturday until noon. The only way you can make any money is the overtime. Burnout becomes an issue. * middle management in main office is cavalier, arrogant, condescending, and useless if you need any help. *alcoholism is widely condoned. *several folks who have been there a few years are so miserable, but they enjoy being miserable. They really enjoy making other people miserable.
