Pros

Other coworkers under management are wonderful to work with

Cons

There are quite a few cons to working at this location. Never have proper equipment to do your job correctly or effiently...things like vacuums and mops or enough cleaning rags or even gloves to clean your rooms. Most days you will be waiting on the linens for each room well after you are finished cleaning. The hotel is extremely understaffed, underpaided, and over worked. Laundry and housekeeping will work 6-7 days staight. They will tell you that you will work 40-45 hours a pay period but will end up working 119+ hours and get paid maybe what you would if you had worked 40 hours. If you go to management with a problem or concern you will not get help. If you advocate for yourself when it's needed you will be targeted by management and yelled at in front of guest and other employees. Don't count on general Manger to help with anything even if she's on the clock you won't find her she leaves without saying anything or she will have her kids and grandkid at the hotel watching TV in the lobby or even doing her personal laundry on the clock. The whole feel of the hotel is very poor. No one cares at this hotel and it shows. if this hotel doesn't make improvements soon I wouldn't be surprised if other employees continue to quit or if the hotel was shut down. This is not my first housekeeping job but has been by far the worst experience. You will not be properly trained and unless you have had prior housekeeping experience you will not survive more than a week (about how long new employees in housekeeping has lasted).
