Pros

Part of the Hilton Brand. Hilton seems to do a good job with their on-line training. Get employee and family and friend discounts at other Hilton properties. With Hilton properties located all over the world, there are many opportunities to travel and advance in the company. Fun meeting people from all over the world.

Cons

Not always fun wokring nights, weekends and holidays but it comes with the industry. Not all properties respect the balance between your home life and your career. Having to deal with upset customers that, no matter what you do or offer, they continue to be rude and insulting.

There really weren't many downsides, it is a retail type position so the customers can occasionally be rude or hard to deal with
