Pros

They offer decent benefits and you get an employee card that you can use to buy lunch on campus. You get several holidays off.

Cons

Nice on the outside but old inside. The classrooms and offices really need updating. Pay is not so great. Make sure you ask for what you want in pay. Don't lowball.

It was a job lol it kept money in my pockets .

Cons

They don't have good equipment they are not oroingzored. Will have you doing multiple things at once and get upset when you can't do everything at one time .

Students, colleagues to go to lunch with and vent

Cons

Pay, no support to do job or research properly, BYOT- bring your own technology is what we have been told, poor leadership at all levels, if you are part of the "in crowd" you will be promoted and tenured, otherwise there are no opportunities for advancement
