Pros

The culture is a lot different from the big name banks. Everything is a lot friendlier here, and a lot more focus is put on customer service and satisfaction. 401(k) for all workers (4% match I believe?) and health benefits/other compensation packages for full-time workers. Decent, fair bonuses for exceeding goals. They are great at considering internal hirers for open positions.

Cons

Nothing that wouldn't come from working at any other retail banks (laws, regulations, structure, etc.). Through conversation, seems like they start out new employees at less and less salary now. Very minimal raise opportunities; you pretty much have to have a higher paying offer from somewhere else to ever get a raise.

Pros

I recently interviewed with Hancock and Whitney Bank. Don't know if I have the job yet, however, great group of friendly people who are focused on hiring top talent. Everyone from the recruiter to the top executives seemed genuine, happy to work there and eager to make the whole process pleasant for potential candidates. First class organization with first class people.

Cons

Only cons appear to be some of the negative reviews about the bank being focused on "selling". Seems a little silly because it is after all a business that is focused on growth and stability, which in-turn benefits the employee and the community where they work.
