I’m a member of the GTM team here at Handshake and I love my job. Our mission from the top, from Garrett, to democratize access to opportunity for every student regardless of race, gender or economic status is one that everyone associated with Handshake’s journey should fill them with pride. Everyday, I (We) have an opportunity to help our Employer partners make data driven decisions regarding diversity, equity and inclusion, to help not only this generation but future generations realize the power and value of a first - a first internship or a first job. How often can you say that the work that you do on a daily basis has so many positive and far reaching benefits?
To echo what others have said, we have an amazing group of leaders, managers and individuals, who are intelligent and eagerly willing to help train and mentor others without issue. I can honestly speak from experience, as I have a great relationship with my manager as well as our Director and I always know that my voice and value is heard and recognized. Leadership values feedback and is willing to listen and then act on that feedback.
We are a company scaling and continuing to grow, and with that there is going to be change, and understanding that as a positive and constructive maxim will help anyone working here at Handshake be successful.
