Pros

Fun brands to work on, summer hours (every friday off) is a good bonus.

Cons

Promotions/pay not based on talent, more based on good ole boy network. Employees who do little in actual work but devote time to social causes promoted by company get rewarded over those who are talented and carry the load.

Good place to start out of business school. Networking is crucial in helping you get noticed and get the good assignments.

Cons

Hard work alone will not be enough. You must socialize with the right people. The apparel industry is a tough industry, but if you can make it through the layoffs, you will get a good experience with a top paying job in the area.

I really enjoyed the customers and it was very rewarding to help people. For the most part I had an amazing staff.

Cons

To many policies and procedures that get made up as someone feel like it should be different. Company requires to much out of staff for what they get paid. They don't help you when you get you are short staffed. If you enjoy working 65+ hours (not getting paid for it), not being able to hold a staff down due to too many qualifications for the positions and not enough pay for the ones with the qualifications. The quality of the product has really gotten worse over the years.
