Honestly I don't think that I have any pros. I would not suggest to anyone to apply or work for Harbor Freight.

Cons

If I could give this job 0 stars, I would. I've been working for this company for over a year and I'd have to say management is probably the main reason why I'm leaving, next would be pay. I currently make 8.75 an hr, and that was after raises. We do get commission, however some days you will get nothing. Management is rude and makes me not want to come in at all

Pros

Its retail... there are no Pros ! the retail associate is a dying role as Amazon demonstrates and big box retails are reducing their staff as well.

Cons

Inconsisteant store management, co-workers who are disenfranchised, district managers who are not people managers. No desire to see anyone be successful, just chasing a number for Calabasas. A very depressing and demoralizing place to have a job.

Good company to work for overall. Growing quickly so opportunities for advancement are there for those that want to apply themselves.

Cons

Work Life Balance is non existent for a manager. The companies answer to a slow sales day is for the manager to let the other supervisors off and take their shift. Marketing strategy is getting stagnant leading to soft sales.
