Pros

Pay and Benny's good if you don't urinate anyone off that "manages" you and can survive there to keep your job

Cons

Very myopic culture - no good dead goes unpunished watch out for the relocation subsidies these can really cost you if you don't stay long enough

Pros

U have some freedom when your machine is running. If u can read a caliper people will think u came from nasa

Cons

Poor attitude of mgmt. Everything is by the book. No exceptions. Writing people up and firing people must get u huge bonuses. Mind numbing boring work

Pros

Paid weekly. Clean conditions. The work is not very hard. No heavy lifting is allowed.

Cons

For a company that is over 100 years old you would think that they would be very organized but they are not. They are actually over managed. Because of this there can be a lot of wasted time. There can also be a lot of lost production because people don't get the correct training or the supervisor is to busy with paperwork to see that standards are met. This is particularly a problem in there paint dept. Buffers will reject parts that have small dust particles that they are supposed to polish out. These parts get sent back to the paint dept. for reprocessing wasting a lot of time and material. They try to make all the jobs there so that "anyone" can do them. This is good. However, some of the work takes skill that has to be learned through experience. Things are not always put part "A with B" and send it on. Not being full time and moved around some people never catch on.
