Strange things

Pros

Everyone is always lending a hand to get stuff done. Company culture seems to be very important. Work seems to be balanced out fairly well. If your local to the area you may have a greater chance of working here.

Cons

It seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Additionally, the managers seem to control the company or HR at least. A full-time job is treated like a contract. I expected things to be more steady and less volatile but it was the exact opposite. Things move very slow and you have to fight for answers which you probably will never get. Chances are you will be blindsided by some change that directly affects you, whether it be employment status or work policy or anything in between. Lastly, the leave policy where it's not accrued but they have unlimited leave but they let the managers enforce the policy as to how they want to apply that. None of it's documented. It's an equation in someone's head with a lot of the rules in the handbook and policies are free to interpretation and application by your manager and it varies from department to department or manager to manager.

Thank you for your feedback. As you note, our culture is very important to us- and part of that culture is listening to concerns so we can improve moving forward. Communication is an essential foundation for Trust! 100% agree with you there. While we do try to communicate policy very clearly- and I think we do a pretty good job of that between regular emails and intranet updates, published Handbooks, and all company calls to discuss policy changes, we do also give our managers autonomy to lead their teams in a way that rewards strong performers and motivates others to improve. We think that autonomy and rewards are almost as important as communication when it comes to building strong teams! But we do know that no matter how well we do, there is always room for improvement-- so we will take your feedback to heart and continue to work hard to be even better at all that we do!

I'm happy to see your positive comments- thank you for sharing! It does look as though you may not have taken advantage of the opportunities we provide for career growth, including unlimited access to training resources, paid training days, and often opportunities to transfer between programs in order to broaden skill sets. If you are looking to take the next steps in your career, reach out to your manager and see what they may suggest to get you to the next level! We want our employees to not just be content, but to be engaged and excited by the work they do and the opportunities they have to grow professionally and personally!
