Pros

Tech stack interesting Challenging Some really great people and teams

Cons

No work-life balance - Harness solutions to every problem, work harder, or how many engineers can work on a single problem. Engineers are expected to be on the clock 24/7. (In this day and age, Management can not keep playing the SaaS platform card). No room for engineering growth. Harness is building an engineering culture on fear and distrust.

Pros

Strong platform play that’s addressing a big problem. One of the strongest sales teams in the industry at AE level

Cons

Everything bad about playbook companies is real here. Entire team is burntdue to leadership not listening or respecting them Impossible to switch off or take personal time even at weekends Culture of fear and shaming and no trust - extreme micromanagement Empty promises and manipulation

Pros

* Good product * Good people * Good salary and benefits * Success in sales of the product

Cons

* You feel like a work mule almost all the time. Piles of emergencies and work without sufficient staff, so basically no life outside work. They drive you so hard that they need to compensate with a free Friday every 2 months. This doesn't make up for burning people out. * Very authoritarian management, micro-management, and orders from higher ups. So no feeling of ownership of work or satisfaction from solving problems. Sometimes orders from the top don't make sense. * One of the company values is "Remember the human" but it's completely hollow, as employees are treated like work horses. There's no chance to be human. All attempts by HR to make life suitable to humans is erased by the amount of work and stress baked into daily work experience. * No chance to feel part of a team - no time, and teams not empowered to make decisions.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It's great to hear that you found the product to be good, and that you worked with good people. Having a strong product and a supportive team can positively impact job satisfaction and overall work experience. Additionally, a good salary and benefits package is an important factor in attracting and retaining talented employees. However, it's concerning to hear that you often feel overwhelmed by excessive workload. Striking a balance between work and personal life is crucial for maintaining employee well-being and preventing burnout. We have shared your feedback with the Engineering leadership team. Please do not hesitate to discuss your concerns with your manager and/or HR Business partner.
