Pros

Harris was a great learning opportunity. I was exposed to many things that in most other companies I would never had the opportunity to participate in such as M&A activities including due diligence. I learned a lot from the "good financial discipline brings good business discipline philosophy" of Harris. I knew I learned quite a few things at Harris but I didn't really realize how much I learned until working in a new position outside of Harris. Their unique way of running business units (divisions) as their own mini corporations gave alot of autonomy as a leader at the business unit level that you do not have in any other 10,000+ employee company. (CSI)

Cons

In my opinion, as a leader at Harris it takes about 3 years to "get Harris" and their unique business methodologies. It is a totally unique business model in a large public company. (CSI). While it is a plus, and a strength, it is also the biggest challenge.

Pleasant atmosphere, an extraordinary work team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I am very grateful to be working here.

Cons

Working from another country there is little chance of meeting people face to face. But today's technologies bridge the gaps and it's like we're in the office together.
