      Large company with the feel of a small company

      Pros

      Harris is made of several different business units. You can become a part of one of these business units and be appreciated for the person and job you do. You're not a number. You will also have the opportunity to apply for positions within the other business units. Opportunities are limitless.

      Cons

      A con is difficult to come up with. Possibly more consistency across business units. I.e. same type and amount of all hands meetings within each business unit.

      Pros

      benefits are decent. there are a lot of good people here.

      Cons

      it is really difficult to get corporate help with things like guidance on benefit packages or 401k it is mostly left up to the employee to figure it out for themselves. there are also WAAAAY to many managers and VP's and not enough people to do the actual work.
