      Pros

      Harris for years has had the core values or Pillars to guide them.

      Cons

      Yet as Jeff has shifted his work load, Jerry retired, the new leadership’s focus is solely of EBITA, the core values are now nothing more than a poster on the wall. Senior North American employees are being let go and replaced with offshore or nearshore for the sole purpose of increasing ratios. Respect the individual is sacrificed for profitability.

Harrs has had some leadership changes due to retirement and personal priorities adjusting. We are grateful for our leaders past and present. Change does create tension and opportunity.       The way the company is structured the Business Units (BU's) have no HR reps designated per BU. The HR rep floats between a dozen or so BU's along with all of the acquisitions meetings. This definitely impacts the BU's that do not have good culture and good leaders. Not only that, poor morale was abundant in the BU I was a part of, just a very sad toxic place. The EVP's for the BU's are quite competitive with each other, which leads them wanting to have the best ratio's and EBITA numbers. Nothing wrong with that but that drives a certain behavior that can lead to the wrong decisions that negatively impact customers and staff.

      Benefits are solid. Expectations for performance are low. Remote employment supported if not encouraged.

      Cons

      Management is incompetent. Wages are low. Internal support is practically non-existent.
